Via Commander Kerchner; To all you in the Main Stream Media who want to characterize the Tea Party Movement as a bunch of crazies. Take a look a this picture. This is a picture of everyday folks in America. These are ordinary people who don't live in Washington DC. Your moms and dads, brothers and sisters. They made their own signs. This is not astro-turfing like the SEIU and ACORN does at their rallies. This is truly a grass roots uprising by We the People who have had enough of the Washington DC political party controlled socialist takeover type federal big government. We the People are going to throw out many of them in elected office and the leaders of the political parties who are not responding to the wishes and beliefs of the American people. When Nov 2010 arrives, you will see who is really the sovereign power in our country. We believe in our Constitution as the fundamental law of our nation. We are a nation of laws not men. And the Constitution is the fundamental law of the land. And if those in power don't wish to obey the fundamental law, we are going to remove them. So you folks in media who keep telling us what you think this is all about instead of what it really is all about, wake up and do your duty as the 4th estate. Report the truth about the true character of the Tea Party people ... and their motivation ... to support and defend our Constitution and to restore rule of law under the Constitution to our out of control federal government and political parties in Washington DC. The day of reckoning is coming. Will you in the media be helping the cause or will you keep spinning it away to hinder it. What will you be telling your grandchildren about your part and role in this great Constitutional awakening by the American people. Will you be on the side of the People and the Constitution or will you be working for the powerful elite in Washington DC to try and stop the tsunami wave of patriotic, constitutionalists coming your way. Obama and his socialist cronies are on their way out. Get on the right side of history so you can look yourself in the mirror some day when you speak to your grandchildren of what you did during this constitutional crisis.

Detroit – Clinton Township – Day 16 on the Tea Party Express

A couple of thousand folks from the Greater Detroit area turned out on this Sunday morning at the Civic Center Park and Historical Village in Clinton Township, giving a warm welcome to the Tea Party Express.

I took this photo from the stage — they cheered and raised their signs and flags when they saw me take out my camera! A handsome bunch, aren’t they?




To see more pix. The Rally is just about over, and we’re heading to Cleveland, Ohio for a 5 p.m. EDT rally at the Cuyahoga County Fairgrounds. Most likely we’ll be late arriving. We’re always running late! But the folks are always out there waiting for us! It’s amazing. Here are some more pics of our Detroit-area friends. They stand shoulder to shoulder with you in defending our Constitution and rescuing our country from the clutches of the Communists in the White House.
