Video Below: CNN's Anderson Cooper ran a Segment on the Montana Birther Bill. It was smack full of lies. The Media is doing the best they can to try and confuse the American people. Judging by all the Birther Polling they are failing miserably at it, though. The lies and amount of ridicule is astounding. Cooper again peddles the myth that the State Department accepts all COLB's to get a passport.
The State Department website clearly Reads; "Please note, some short (abstract) versions of birth certificates may not be acceptable for passport purposes."...
Cooper (anderson.cooper@cnn.com) along with the so-called attorney Jeffrey Toobin (jeffrey.toobin@cnn.com) also touched on Vattel's meaning of a "natural born Citizen." And, they couldn't even get that part right. Toobin stated that under Vattel's definition the parents must also be born on U.S. soil for the child to be a "natural born Citizen." That is flat out wrong! Vattel did not say that and Toobin is very uninformed to misquote Vattel that way. No "Birther" is claiming that either. And, Vattel didn't write that. The parents do NOT have to be born in the USA. The parents must simply be U.S. Citizens of any kind, either born Citizens or naturalized Citizens. The problem Obama has is not that his father was not born in the USA but that his father was never a U.S. Citizen, not even an immigrant to the USA. Obama's father was a foreign national sojourning in the USA. The following is what Vattel wrote which Mr. Toobin apparently deliberately misstated to obfuscate the issue:

The citizens are the members of the civil society; bound to this society by certain duties, and subject to its authority, they equally participate in its advantages. The natives, or natural-born citizens, are those born in the country, of parents who are citizens. As the society cannot exist and perpetuate itself otherwise than by the children of the citizens, those children naturally follow the condition of their fathers, and succeed to all their rights. The society is supposed to desire this, in consequence of what it owes to its own preservation; and it is presumed, as matter of course, that each citizen, on entering into society, reserves to his children the right of becoming members of it. The country of the fathers is therefore that of the children; and these become true citizens merely by their tacit consent. We shall soon see whether, on their coming to the years of discretion, they may renounce their right, and what they owe to the society in which they were born. I say, that, in order to be of the country, it is necessary that a person be born of a father who is a citizen; for, if he is born there of a foreigner, it will be only the place of his birth, and not his country."
Anderson Cooper also misrepresented the 14th Amendment by stating the 14th makes any person born on U.S. soil a "natural born Citizen." The fact is the 14th does not even have the word "natural born Citizen" in it. Nor did it amend Article II of the Constitution or change the meaning of "natural born Citizen." Not to mention; the original intent of the 14th was only to grant U.S. "Citizen" status to the children of slaves.
The 14th Amendment; "Section 1. All persons born or naturalized in the United States and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside. No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws."
No one outside of Obama's campaign and allegedly those two college kids at FactCheck.org (Factcheck.org is funded and run by the Annenberg Foundation which also employed Bill "I wish I'd planted more bombs" Ayers and Barack Hussein Obama Soebarkah AKA Barry Soetoro) have even ever seen in person or held the alleged paper document version of the COLB document folded and photographed and put on the internet.
Why have not the experts from CNN, Fox News, and MSNBC investigative reporters along with independent forensic document examiners not all been allowed to visit wherever that document is being held now and to handle it and examine it?

No one in the major media has ever been allowed to see or handle or examine the alleged source document used to make those photos. Could the reason be because you would see that it was a document printed and created and then folded for pictures from a forged digital image, not vice versa? Why won't Anderson challenge Obama to allow CNN investigative reporters along with Fox News investigative reporters and an independent certified document forensics examiner to go to Chicago or the White House and examine the document!?

If the story about the newspaper announcements, a digital COLB that appears on Obama’s website (FTS) which is nothing more than PAID POLITICAL ADVERTISING, and some parsed words from HI officials are the strongest eveidence that Obama was born in Hawaii, then it does not bode well for him leading up to 2012.

I happened to stumble upon this on tv last night while channel surfing. First was Pooper's interview with Rep Wagner, followed by his discussion with Toobin. Imo, Wagner did a fine job. Sure, he could have tried to correct Pooper's BS but he's probably seen Pooper draw others off topic and into arguments over tangents and decided not to go there. Then, during Pooper's discussion with Tubin, they almost had me fooled into believing that they believe what they're saying. Then, as liars often do, they took their story too far. Tubin told the lie about Vattel and "birthers" believing that natural born citizens are children born of natural born citizens and I knew then that they're lying and they know it.
