Many Americans were shocked yesterday when President Obama finally released his long-form birth certificate from the state of Hawaii. The real surprise, however, is that for the past three years, our democratic institutions did not address the matter. The media refused to tackle this issue with the same investigative drive with which they investigated Watergate, President Clinton’s alleged indiscretions and the George W. Bush administration’s missteps in Iraq; the courts declined to hear a single case on the issue; and Congress failed to hold any hearings on the matter.
Perhaps the saddest part of this story is its ending.
Mr. Obama did not release the birth certificate because the media pressured him or because the courts actually listened to one of the many cases that were filed. He released it because an obsessed billionaire threatened his electability in 2012, which forces us to ask the question: What good are our democratic institutions if they don’t stand up for the people?
Journalists did not address the fact that the president was refusing to resolve an issue about his constitutional eligibility. I here to go on the record that the ALL TELLING abnormality of this fake document is the TYPO in Onaka's stamp, "TXE" instead of "THE" that shows on the birth cert that was acquired on March 15th from the same office.

Oh my, our "expert" claims Dan Rather "forged" the Texas National Guard documents (as opposed to being duped by them, assuming they are forgeries, which was never proven conclusively, and then their was the secretary of the Army commander who allegedly wrote them, and this woman confirmed the information was substantially accurate).

Other people have posted copies of birth certificates from the same period. They are all on 50-year old paper, like you would expect. This photoshop version is NOT on old paper. Come on. That is the best they could do?

I recall the first time I took a gander at the BC posted on the White House's website. I was struck by how odd it looked at first glance. Sure enough, my eyes weren't deceiving me. It's so bad that I have to wonder whether they might have done it on purpose in a way to both fool the sheeple but not those like Polland so that they can get the birthers to sound off on that, causing the Kool Aid drinkers to go nutzoid and continue to fundamentally transform this country.

In truth, I'm unsure of a couple of things. First, I'm uncertain which anonymous you are, since you appear to be legion. Second, I'm not entirely persuaded you didn't have your tongue firmly in your cheek when you made your post... You could also be one of those true believers who knows in their heart-of-hearts that Stephen Colbert never does satire... That could create some possible confusion.
