"I'm not a 'birther,'" Hawaii State Sen. Sam Slom told Jeff Katz of WXKS Radio in Boston, "and I followed this from the very beginning. At first I followed it with amusement, and then I got really concerned about it, because the question was if it was not just the birth certificate, but other records as well – school records, academic records, work records – why would anyone spend millions of dollars in legal fees, particularly someone in public office, particularly someone in the highest public office, to not make that information public?"
As WND has reported, besides Obama's actual birth documentation, the president has refused to release his Punahou school records, Occidental College records, Columbia University records, Columbia thesis, Harvard Law School records, Harvard Law Review articles, scholarly articles from the University of Chicago, passport, medical records, files from his years as an Illinois state senator, Illinois State Bar Association records, baptism records and his adoption records.
"There are different theories," Slom continued. "One is that there is no birth certificate at all; I don't think that's true, I think there is a birth certificate. The second is there may be some very interesting information that the president does not want released, for example, who his father really is or what's listed on the birth certificate.
"In any event, here is the president of the United States," Slom said, "you've got to have [a birth certificate to present], why don't we require that of the president?"
Recently, potential presidential candidate Donald Trump has also questioned why Obama has kept his records under lock and key, stating, "There's something fishy about the whole thing," and, "There's something on that certificate that's very bad for him."

According to the WND article on the same subject, Slom believes Barry was born in Hawaii, which absolutely makes no sense after already stating he had been following this from the beginning. The guy is full of, well, lets just say he sounds like all the rest, and I include Trump in that group.

I, for one, don't believe he was born in Hawaii, let alone the United States. The Kenyan birth certificate that Lucas Smith obtained is far more compelling than the embarrassing pieces of crap that the Obots posted online.

I don't believe he was born in Hawaii or any US state, either. On the other hand, I don't believe a word uttered or written by Smith, either. As they used to say, that and a dollar will get you a donut. Belief is faith and we're seeking facts, so it doesn't matter what you and I believe or what Berg and Slom believe. What matters in this situation is what's printed on the documents that Barky has sealed by Executive Order.

I doubt he was born in Hawaii(How hard is it to verify whether that Kenya birth certificate is a fraud or not-seems like that would be a start).
Even if he was born in Hawaii in his grandma's outhouse, his school records are being hid because he used a foreign student status to gain favor in certain schools. That I believe is a felony. I also doubt Obama Sr is the listed dad. If his bc shows that someone else or an unknown is the dad, then his whole story is a lie and that destroys him.
He just has to hold out until the 2012 election then good luck impeaching him and he has 4 more years to destroy this country.

The "Executive Order" to which you refer hasn't anything to do with B.O. Jr's personal records(those which we most covet) ie those relevant to activities outside of this administration The order covers records directly related to his administration of this (faux)Presidency
That is why Trump cannot delay one moment more in coming clean with what he knows. Quite frankly, I haven't a clue as to why Trump is holding back. I want this issue rushed to the forefront of every American citizen's life. Then a multimillion man march on Washington can be arranged. I knew from the beginning that only a strong, united group of citizens would be the way to correct the problem. Times change, people don't.

I did not know Leo Donofrio believes Barry was born in Hawaii. I'm somewhat a little shocked by that, knowing what we know at this time. I, for one, do not believe for one moment he was born here. Anyone can tell by the way he speaks he is not one of us.
I agree, Trump must do something. In fact, I believe it is incumbant as an American, if it is within his ability, to do what he can to end this nightmare.

By the authority vested in me as President by the Constitution and the laws of the United States of America, and in order to establish policies and procedures governing the assertion of executive privilege by incumbent and former Presidents in connection with the release of Presidential records by the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) pursuant to the Presidential Records Act of 1978, it is hereby ordered as follows: Section 1. Sec. 2. Notice of Intent to Disclose Presidential Records. (a) When the Archivist provides notice to the incumbent and former Presidents of his intent to disclose Presidential records pursuant to section 1270.46 of the NARA regulations, the Archivist, using any guidelines provided by the incumbent and former Presidents, shall identify any specific materials, the disclosure of which he believes may raise a substantial question of executive privilege. However, nothing in this order is intended to affect the right of the incumbent or former Presidents to invoke executive privilege with respect to materials not identified by the Archivist. Copies of the notice for the incumbent President shall be delivered to the President (through the Counsel to the President) and the Attorney General (through the Assistant Attorney General for the Office of Legal Counsel). The copy of the notice for the former President shall be delivered to the former President or his designated representative. (b) Upon the passage of 30 days after receipt by the incumbent and former Presidents of a notice of intent to disclose Presidential records, the Archivist may disclose the records covered by the notice, unless during that time period the Archivist has received a claim of executive privilege by the incumbent or former President or the Archivist has been instructed by the incumbent President or his designee to extend the time period for a time certain and with reason for the extension of time provided in the notice. Quite frankly, I haven't a clue as to why Trump is holding back.
What you call "holding back" another reader/commentator here described as not shooting the whole round of bullets at once (or something close to that). If Trump had blurted out at auctioneer speed (cable tv news interviews are very short nowadays) everything he knows about this issue at each of his first round of interviews, the topic would be exhausted and the listeners would have absorbed and remembered only tiny bits and pieces of the entire story. Just as bad, once he'd exhausted the topic, he'd have left the last word with the libturds of the lamestream news media, and that last word would have been that he's just another nutty "birther," too loony to listen to anymore and certainly too loony for the presidency. The way he's approached the situation has allowed him to rebut and shoot down each of their flimsy talking points/flimsy arguments on the air and in front of a national or even international audience.
Trump has aspirations of becoming the next POTUS. Today, however, he is a millionaire (billionaire?) businessman and a private citizen. He's not a public servant, not an employee on our payroll, and he owes us nothing.
Sure, since a couple of weeks ago and until Nov 2012 if he makes the ballot with the "R" by his name (he's said he won't run unless it's as the Republican candidate, thank goodness), each of us is grading him, sizing him up to determine if he gets our vote. Some, like yourself, are grading him poorly, based upon your perception of his accountability in Barky's usurpation of the presidency. Others, like me, see him doing a fine job, going above and beyond expectations, and added to the other issues he's discussed during interviews (the economy, bringing jobs back to the US, dealing with China, etc.), the grades we give him are improving every few days.

Arnold does not have to be born here to be a governor of a state. That state governorship position only requires one to be a "citizen" where the position for president and vice-president require one to be a "natural born Citizen" which is the reason Arnold can't run for the presidency...
