Does Mike include himself in his commentary? This is the first I've heard him speak out about Obama's eligibility.
i heard a caller say that he is hiding his muslim religion . once again she needs to be informed that there is no area or block on the hawaii birth certificate for religion to be named. miki booth made the form public a couple months ago on line.

Yep, yep.. All one needs to do is look at the Nordyke twins Hawaii long-forms from that period and see there is no section for religion.

I'm not familiar with Mike Gallagher and was wondering if he had ever seriously discussed the eligibility issue. If he hasn't, then, you're right, he should include himself with Limbaugh and others who should hang their heads in shame for quietly watching a usurper take control of the Executive Branch of our govt.
A different selection of callers could have improved this segment of his show. Just after sharing what his friend said about the main interest of "birthers" being disclosure of the truth, not coming up with conspiracy theories to support any such claims, the very first caller to his show wanted to play Let's Theorize How, Who and Why This Could Happen. The second caller is a TEA Partier who didn't seem to have called to discuss the eligibility issue. The third caller was an Obot pretending to be a Republican, calling in to defend Barky.
Finally, I read at WND the transcript of the discussion between Limbaugh and his caller that Gallagher mentioned. Limbaugh said "the claim got started by" Larry Johnson, who was a Democratic Party spokesperson for a brief time. Whether that's true or not, what Limbaugh failed to mention is that Johnson was a Hillary supporter. Anyone paying attention to US national politics in 2008 knows that there was a great divide in the Democratic party between Hillary Democrats and Barky Demonrats. When the DNC took the candidacy from Hillary, who was the winner of the primaries before the DNC re-delegated caucus delegates,
and handed it to their Golden Boy, a significant number of registered Democrats turned against the party, many of whom still haven't returned. So, if Johnson made the first claim, then, so what? He's in "good" company, then, (from a Democrat's perspective, anyway) with several other Democrats who claim themselves the First Birther.
In the last paragraph of the transcript, Limbaugh finally reveals the truth about why, for three years+, he's not discussed this issue seriously on his program. This is what he said:
I said, "Well, wait a minute. Don't be too quick to condemn Obama as a messiah because he's got a lot in common with God. God doesn't have a birth certificate, either." Well, I caught hell on the leftist blogs for that, if you will recall. You remember that? Yeah, "God doesn't have a birth certificate, either." So where is all this coming from that I have been a lapdog on all this? I have studied the issue.
Sure, Rush, you fat pussy, you studied the issue. Whatever. Only makes you look worse in my eyes because it means you knew more about it than I thought you did but still wouldn't talk about it because the big bad lefties would make fun of you, you fat-ass mama's boy. So, for the last three years as they made fun of me and a whole slew of others over this, you knew that those of us taking the verbal assaults were in the right but, instead of helping us by talking about this issue on your program, you protected yourself by remaining silent. You're a fucking coward.

i agree totally with the above. i have put this on a couple other blogs that rush limbaugh is a coward a liar a hyprocrit a phony and a professional con man. i heard the way he bamnoozled that poor woman caller a couple of days ago that accused him of not taking on this issue. i got people telling me he is not up on the issue and i say bull shit. he has known all about this for more than two years and he would not discuss or even take one phone call on it until a few days ago. this phony con man has sat there and allowed the constitution to be trampled by this illegal alien in the w h soetoro / obama. shame on you rush limbaugh shame shame shame on you. i hope we can chase you off the radio. i know dr. manning from the manning report is going to work to bring your cowardly ass down. i suspected you were a big fat liar and phony all along and you have proved my suspicions right. it is obvious that limbaugh is irritated at having to discuss the issue now and just wants to get it over. the bottom line is limbaugh is a sell out for money and we need to stay after him and drive his sorry lying coning hyprocrit phony ass right off the air.
