Former Director of the Hawaii Department of Health, Dr. Chiyome Fukino, made this stunning revelation in an interview with NBC:
Fukino said, she wanted to inspect the files - and did so, taking with her the state official in charge of vital records. She found the original birth record, properly numbered, half typed and half handwritten, and signed by the doctor who delivered Obama, located in the files.
Dr. Fukino emphasized: "It is real, and no amount of saying it is not, is going to change that." She reiterated that computer generated "certification of live birth" that was obtained by the Obama campaign in 2007 and has since been publicly released is the standard document that anybody requesting their birth certificate from the state of Hawaii would receive from the health department.
If he wanted to clear things up, why wouldn't Obama ask Dr. Fukino to tell him the name of the doctor? If the physician is living, Obama could have a statement released. If deceased, there are other ways to prove that this doctor was in a hospital delivering a baby on August 4, 1961 at 7:42 PM. That would solve that mystery.
We would all like to know what else is on this document Dr. Fukino says she has inspected, and exactly what type of form it might be. We've seen examples of other "long form" birth certificates from Hawaii in the early 1960s. That form is called a "Certificate of Live Birth." We've only seen Obama's CERTIFICATION of Live Birth, or "short form." Dr. Fukino implies that document is derived from information she saw on another document that is half typed and half handwritten and signed by the doctor who delivered Obama. That is really very straightforward stuff.
If you believe the above, when the argument is made that Obama has already provided us with his birth certificate, you must respond with, "NOT TRUE." According to Dr. Fukino, she read additional information about his birth *including a doctor's signature* on a document. Again, if Dr. Fukino is telling the truth, clearing up this one issue about the name of a doctor is within the power and capability of the president. Could anyone in the press ask him, or Jay Carney, why he can't do this simple thing? If the answer is something along the lines of: We've already provided all the information about this we are going to ~ or ~ answering one question on this topic leads to all the others... then we are in an endless loop until there is a Congressional investigation or others come forward with evidence.
I remember wholeheartedly believing Bill Clinton—who I voted for twice—when he said: I did not have sexual relations with that woman, Miss Lewinsky. The comparison I am making to this is to convey how angry I was when he later admitted that he did. I was angry because he committed adultery and he lied about it. Moreover, he didn't NEED to lie to keep my support.
If Obama won't "come clean" about something because he thinks we can't handle the truth, he is wrong. Americans are incredibly strong, understanding and forgiving. Most of us want to be a team. We need to heal this... NOW. Whatever it is... W H A T E V E R! It might very well be all completely innocent or understandable under the circumstances. There is no denying that more and more people are fearing a cover-up.
I would have liked to have seen more of that question/speech that Ron Paul was addressing. On it's face it is extremely disconcerting to hear the "biggest defender of the Constitution" in congress dismiss eligibility as "irrelevant." I don't want to make excuses for R.P but it just might be that he is frustrated and demoralized like I and so many others are that this debacle has gone on for so long virtually unchecked. As for those imbecilic parrots on Fox News or those little establishment tarts from Minnesota/Alaska (Bachman/Palin)... I would expect nothing less (or more) from any of them. And "Bush's Brain" should STFU!

It's just unbelievable that the likes of Glenn Beck, Michelle Bachmann and now Ron Paul would talk a big game about defending the Constitution and yet they inexplicably look the other way when it comes to presidential eligibility. These, ladies and gentlemen, are nothing but "Cafeteria Constitutionalists" who pick and choose what parts of the Constitution to uphold. They need to get it drilled into their pointy heads that there is a process for amending the Constitution if there's anything about it that they have a problem with.

I really don't get this kind of comment from Ron Paul. This is the man who has more often then not been the great defender of the founding documents. This is the man who is ALWAYS quoting and worrying about following the Constitution, however in this instance, it doesn't seem to matter. How are we to take him seriously on all of the other Constitutional issues he professes to care about? Just because Obama is not going to be thrown out of office we should just let the Constitution fly out the window instead? I'm no fan of Ron Pauls, but I, too, would like to see and hear more, particularly what was said just prior to and following that bit, before passing judgment on the man. Again, I'm no fan of his. He comes across as a nut most of the time, in my opinion. But on this particular issue, which is important to me, I'd like to see and hear more before calling the man a traitor.
