Scott is a baseball player for the Orioles, and a pretty good one. Only 11 men have hit more home runs in the American League since 2008, including a three-run shot in the Royals’ 6-5 win on Tuesday.
Scott is also a proud member of the so-called birther movement, a group of people who challenge Obama’s citizenship. Donald Trump is among those who made enough of an issue out of it that the White House released Obama’s birth certificate last week. Or, as Scott puts it, the White House released what looks like Obama’s birth certificate.
“If they can counterfeit $100 bills, I think it’s a million times easier to counterfeit a birth certificate, if you ask me,” Scott says. “So, all it is, let’s just see if it’s real. Anybody can produce a document, so let’s check it out.”
An Orioles employee saw me talking to Scott to make it clear that the organization doesn’t endorse his views. So there we have it. Natural born are those born (their Posterity) to American citizens AFTER the adoption of the US Constitution. Children born to foreigners need not apply for the presidency.

The player said it would be easy to fake a birth certificate. No it isn't if it's 50-years-old, as evidenced by Obama's copy of an obviously brand new one that just happens to have a dead doctor's signature on it. From every possible graphic inspection perspective, as has been irrefutably demonstrated in ways people can check themselves, Obama's long form - if it's supposed to be a photocopy of an original 50-year-old paper document - is a fake.

Hawaii DOH and/or Obama were already suspected of releasing a forged document when the short form document was released, and people were already suspicious and didn't trust either one of them.
Hawaii DOH and/or Obama were supposedly releasing the long form birth certificate to gain the confidence of those who had their doubts about Obama's birth in Hawaii.
Why would Hawaii DOH, and/or Obama, choose to use a process to create the document, that allowed for the possibility of fraud or tampering that could result in a forged document, instead of choosing the process of scanning or copying that would have eliminated the possibility of fraud or tampering?

Scanned documents aren't evidence of anything even if they are legitimate. The entire reason there is a professional field known as forensic document examination is that a great deal can be told from examination of the original document itself. Much, much less can be told by looking at a photocopy of a document and very little, if anything at all, can be told from looking at a digital image that purports to be an image of an original document. Too much opportunity for adulteration, no opportunity to examine the paper, the ink, any impressions made on the paper, etc. These online arguments discussing images (especially photographic images) are like people studying animals by examining imitation scat.

ORYR makes the best point about certain aspects of the forgery that Miss Tickly and others pointed out: they can be replicated. I don't know about hers but I duplicated the results in the video about the repeated pixel-perfect duplicate "B"s - the first such one about repeated letters I saw - and it took less than five minutes and was exactly as described. That's the great thing about zeros and ones; unless you change formats or resolution, a copy is exact, right down to the pixel arrangement of the the duplicate layers.
For what it's worth, I've been saying for years, now, that the technology to detect a fraud outstrips many times over the technology available to create one. Let's do some chemical ink analysis on the original and get some of the paper fibers under an electron microscope for comparative analysis with other documents from the period. If they want to play games, we can play games. Next to that stuff, layers and aging manifest ions are nothing.
On the layers, once again, it isn't the fact of the layers, but the arrangement and *the operational history contained therein!* When it comes to layers, that's what kills the PDF they put up. You can actually read how the thing was assembled! Put it in illustrator and see for yourself. It's positively fascinating reading when you imagine them huddled around in the dark with the blinds closed, anxiously and methodically double-checking their work which will soon be reverse-engineered in 20 minutes by high school students.

I've only seen one video of the identically pixelated 'B' out there. Might be worthwhile to create a video using Miss Tickly's colored boxes to represent all the duplicated areas. Yeah I know I should do it myself but I don't have any of the software or skills (yet) and my computer has been unstable as hell since an attack months ago.
I don't know anything about the layering and all the technical things Pro Graphics discusses. I've seen the videos and realize it looks strange but technical mumbo jumbo could convince/confuse me either way. I do understand that the pixelation should be random and what we see repeated is pretty damning. Especially when it's there more than once.

Just mention the idea here. I don't want ORYR having to play middle-man between us, and Obots are everywhere. If the idea can have the blood sucked out by obots that quickly, it won't hold up long enough to get traction. I like ORYR's approach: stay 100% accurate even if it means giving props once in a while to the opposition. The preponderance of evidence that the long form Obama put out is not a legit copy of an original birth certificate is so overwhelming that we "birthers" need not exaggerate to make the point. The most conservative analysis of the facts makes it clear it's a total fake.

The Obama White House have shown in the past they have no problem altering documents. They altered a drilling moratorium document. When the commission didn't recommend shutting down drilling in the Gulf like Obama wanted them to do, Obama's White House changed the document and placed the names of those on the commission to the document.

That's just stupid. Even if Barky had presented a document that was visibly above suspicion and had been verified since to be authentic by numerous third-party document forensics specialists, Trump and the rest of the "birthers" wouldn't have been "trashed." Instead, we would have been satisfied; we would have finally gotten from him what we've been requesting for three years (longer than that for some).
Trump, especially, never said that Barky couldn't present a long-form birth certificate. The closest he said to that was that he'd been told that there wasn't one at the Hawaii DOH. What Trump said repeatedly was that Barky needed to stop behaving like a spoiled, stubborn child and present the damned thing to the public. Otherwise, he leaves "birthers" no option but to assume he doesn't have one to present. (The "spoiled, stubborn child" part was mine. As far as I know and can recall, Trump never actually said that of Barky.)
Do people like Powell get all smug and say, at least to themselves if not out loud, "I told you so. I told you it was me," when they present their ID at the bank after the teller asks to see it? Is this how childish and petty we've become as a society?
