Social security numbers, prior to June 2011, were assigned by the residential address of the person who was applying for a number. Hawaii’s zip codes start with 968 and, coincidentally, Connecticut’s start with 068. So it had to be a typo, right? Nope.
When Barack Obama was living in Hawaii, he had three zip codes: 96814, 96822 and 96826. The State of Connecticut has never had the zip codes 06822 or 06826. They did have 06814. It however, is referred to as a “Unique” number. When I contacted the post office in Danbury, where this number originated, I was told by a long-time employee that 06814 was assigned exclusively to the Union Carbide company. (The Union Carbide building opened in 1983 when construction was completed.) He said the post office took it out of service several years ago. Obama allegedly got his CT number of 042-68-4425 in March 1977, which can be proven since the person before him -4424 and after him -4429 both got theirs then.
Obama has a CT number. It could never have been legally assigned to him. As a resident of Hawaii, his number should start with 575 or 576. His sister’s starts with 575 and was issued at approximately the same time he started using the CT number: 1986.

Who else was it supposedly issued to? Has the IRS has never claimed there's any problem with the number and Obama? To have any case at all, one is going to have to show it was issued to someone else prior to being issued to Obama. It's that simple.

Well the debt collector (see the taped interview) who has access to all the data bases necessary, stated that his triple check showed the number not coming up anywhere any longer and yet Obama has used it along with an alias....ergo....another felony.

I think it is much more likely that someone at the SSA entered a 0 instead of a 9, then someone has been filing tax returns with a fraudulent SSN. Try missing your kid's by one number on your return, and watch what happens.

The trouble with all the rationalizations about how a particularly odd number could have gotten into Obama's repertoire, the fact is that this number had been issued to another person and a number is not ever issued AGAIN to another person.
Barry's SS number failed E-verify, (information input by several different private investigators, independent of each other). Of course you can use a SS number that wasn't issued to you originally. That is why E-verify exist.
To write off every abnormality in Obama's records as an "editing error" or a "clerical error" is to be either a true Obama Zombie or maybe just an Obama level BS artist.

Are you soft? Did you read Susan Daniels' explanation? Replacing a '0' with a '9' doesn't cut it. The "typo" would have to be all of the digits since none of the zips in Hawaii had the same digits after the '9' as those in CT had after the '0'.

Not true. They were assigned by the zip code of the return address on the SS-5 card. It may or may not be the residential address.
In 1976, the President's grandparents lived at 1617 S Beretania St. Apt 1008 Honolulu, Hawaii 96814. This is the address and zip code on Stanley Ann Dunham's passport renewal form. The Columbia University student directory in 1982 lists Barack Obama's home address as 1617 S Beretania St. Apt 1008 Honolulu, Hawaii 96826. Obviously the zip code had changed between 1976 and 1981.
So we can ignore any other zip codes.
The Social Security Administration would only care about the first three digits of the zip code. It is the first three digits that determine the state. This IRS document illustrates what the SSA clerks might have reviewed when assigning SSNs.

1) Obama's SSN arrives in Baltimore, Maryland.
2) A clerk transcribes the handwritten card and enters 06814 instead of 96814.
3) The SSN is assigned based on the zip code 068nn. The SSA would not care about the last two digits.
4) The SSN card is mailed to 1617 S Beretania St. Apt 1008 Honolulu, Hawaii 06814. The Post Office automatic character reader kicks it out and a postal clerk hand cancels it and send it to Honolulu.

No, it doesn't. For example, a college student applies in California and the ss-5 card has the mailing address of their parent's house in Hawaii, the SSN will be based on the zip code of the return address (in this case Hawaii).

In 2006, the Inspector General's office did a statistical study of errors in the SSA database. They found:
"Two (0.24 percent) of the 810 native-born U.S. citizen Numident records tested contained inaccurate spellings of the numberholders' names—when compared to the associated Form SS-5s. When the proper names were tested in the Basic Pilot, it returned an “SSA tentative nonconfirmation” for each. Additionally, 2 (0.24 percent) other Numident records lacked a date of birth for the numberholders. When we tested the dates of birth provided on the numberholders’ Form SS-5s, the Basic Pilot returned an “SSA tentative nonconfirmation” response. As such, these individuals’ employment eligibility may not be initially verified through the Basic Pilot and the numberholders may need to correct their information with SSA. "
These were errors made by the SSA personnel in inputing the information from the ss-5 cards. They only looked at input errors in Name and DOB. They don't even consider someone having the wrong prefix as being an error since it would not cause a mismatch letter to be sent out.

As I understand, the SS# was issued to some OTHER person who was BORN 1890, but it was issued when this person was already retired.
The person never collected SS, had lived in Connecticut but died in Hawaii where "someone" received the number.

I have had enough experience with the IRS to know that a error in a SSN does not fly. The SSA says that it does NOT reissue numbers. Go to their site and check it out. So how would it work that Obama has been using, and filing tax returns under someone else's number? Think people.
As for those saying they require "proof", what proof do you have the SSN is false, other than a hope and a prayer that it is? It has passed with the IRS since he applied for it, but that is not enough. It was on his published tax returns until some idiots made it public.

As I understand, the SS# was issued to some OTHER person who was BORN 1890, but it was issued when this person was already retired.
The person never collected SS, had lived in Connecticut but died in Hawaii where "someone" received the number.

I am not seeing what you are, so I have a couple questions. Do you that the correct seal was used, but applied to the back by the ink stamp instead of the front, or visa versa? Or do you think the wrong (fake, fraudulent, etc.) stamp was used? Is so, what are you comparing it with?
You aren't seeing that the HDoH seal applied to the back of the document is debossed? You don't see where the backside of the seal is pushed out on the front of the document appearing "raised?"
That can only be chalked up to willful ignorance then, and I cannot help you with that. Clearly, Factcheck.org could see it and that's why they labeled the backside of the seal as "The raised seal."
And I am comparing the seal to the law. I have read the vital records regulations and the admin rules that state the HDoH uses a raised seal embossment. The seal on the back of Obama's short form is a lowered debossment. There is no disputing this.
A seal embosser cannot produce a debossment and a debosser cannot produce an embossment. These are two different devices. It has nothing to do with being applied to the wrong side of the paper. If the debossed seal was applied to the frontof the document, it would still be a debossed seal. Only it would be debossed on the front of the document and the backside of the seal would be raised out the back of the document.
I don't understand why this concept is so difficult for you to understand. Think about braille embossing...if the words in a braille book were debossed instead of embossed, no one would be able to feel anything raised. And if they tried to read the backside of debossed braille -- everything would be in reverse and backwards.
Embossing and debossing are two DIFFERENT processes requiring entirely different devices.

That's why it's important to look at all of the photos of the seal, not just one. Photos of the back of the seal confirm that you're eyes aren't deceiving you when you see the front of the seal (on the back of the document) is debossed. The optical illusion is believing it's embossed!
