There are no heroes in congress. Everybody is waiting for another to do the dirty work. How sad is that? Now, we have paul ryan as a vp running mate. How about you paul? You are in congress. I thought the "Birthers" were really reaching on this race issue on the birth certificate until I pulled the vital statistics from 1961 to see for my self. (I always go directly to the source for my information.) They are right about African Americans being listed as "N-e g-r o-s" on all documents that collected vital statistics, which includes birth certificates during that time of our history; that includes Hawaii.

You won't find the word "Africa" or "African" in the document. As a matter of fact, the CDC used the term ""N-e g-r o-" for vital statistics up until 1976. From 1977 at least through 2003 (from what I could find), they used the term "Black". I could not find the term "African" used by the CDC until after 2003, when they went to the term "Black or African American".
The same is to be said about the history of the vital statistics for Puerto Ricians, which where once considered "White" or "Non-White". (This is in that document as well.)

That is a felony. You cant be president if you are a felon or if you are proven to be a felon. Nobody can dispute this because we have proof. I hope you don't believe the reason Obama has not been impeached is because the Republicans only control the House. It the Republicans controlled both the House and the Senate there would still be...no impeachment. Why? Because both parties were in 2008 complicit in getting a known ineligible candidate on the ballot and since then in the cover-up of their actions in 2008. The only problem with your "logic" is that Obama sr. was not an "African American", he was an African. The term "negro" was not applied to all blacks from all over the world; that's where "other non-white" comes into play.

The information that you reference shows that "Color" is the same as "Race" (See index of your referenced 1961 document.) The charts in the 1961 report refer to "Negro," "Other Races" and "Non-White"
The chart that was shown at the July 17, 2012 Cold Case Posse press conference was from 1968, not 1961. The 1968 chart specified that number "9" meant "Unknown or not stated." In 1961, according to the "Vital Statistics Instruction Manual, Coding and Punching Geographic and Personal Particulars for Births Occurring in 1961," the numerical punch code "9" meant "Other nonwhite." According to the instructions, Obama Sr. would have been designated as a number "9","Other nonwhite" because he was a black person born outside the United States. The term "Negro" would have been used for the father, (Punch Code number 2) only if the father was born in the United States. He was born in Africa.
I fully support the Cold Case Posse and their investigation to seek the truth, however this information is troubling to me, to say the least and undermines the credibility, in my opinion, of what was already been accomplished at the March 1, 2012 press conference.
It's long over due for the Cold Case Posse to submit their fingings to the Maricopa County Prosecutors Office and ask for a Grand Jury to be convened to come up with an official finding regarding their evidence. Asking members of Congress to do anything on this subject, is a waste of time.
